1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon minced garlic clove
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Grind together and put 1 tablespoon of mixture on plate.
  • Pour extra virgin olive oil over and mix together with mixture.
  • Dip warm french bread in the mixture.

Carrabbas Italian Grill Bread Dip Mix image

I tried this recipe and it is EXTREMELY close to the one they serve in the restuarant! To serve this you just add a half of a cup of good quality olive oil to 1 Tbls. of this herb mix and dip a nice piece of crusty Italian bread in it! Great with a good glass of wine! The photo is my own.

1 tablespoon(s) dried rosemary
1 tablespoon(s) dried basil
1 tablespoon(s) dried parsley

1 tablespoon(s) minced fresh garlic
1 teaspoon(s) kosher salt

Steps:

  • To use, put 1 tablespoon of mixture in a small bowl. Pour extra virgin olive oil (about 1/2 cup) over and mix together.
  • Dip crusty Italian bread into the oil/herb mixture.
  • NOTE: Because this mix contains fresh garlic, refrigerate unused portion and use within 1-2 weeks.
