Number Of Ingredients 3

2/3 lb brie cheese, wedges are okay
2 sheets puff pastry
hot pepper jelly

Steps:

  • Cut brie into one-half inch squares.
  • Place on a dinner plate in the freezer while thawing pastry at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • When pastry is thawed, unfold and roll lightly with a rolling pin to remove creases.
  • Cut each sheet in fourths, then cut each forth in half.
  • Cut each piece in half again to produce 16 even squares of dough per pastry sheet.
  • Lightly spray mini muffin cups with vegetable oil.
  • Fit a square of dough into each cup.
  • The pointed edges of the dough should extend straight up.
  • Place a piece of cheese in each dough lined cups.
  • Top with ¼ t.hot pepper jelly.
  • Bake at 400 for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden.

Yield 2 1/2 dozen

Number Of Ingredients 3

2/3 pound Brie cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
(17.3-ounce) package frozen puff pastry
1/3 cup red or green hot pepper jelly

Steps:

  • Arrange cheese cubes on a plate and place in the freezer. Let pastry thaw at room temperature for 30 minutes. Unfold each sheet of pastry and roll with a rolling pin to remove creases. Slice each sheet into quarters; slice each quarter in half. Slice each piece in half one more time for a total of 32 squares. Place squares into greased mini muffin cups; arrange so corners of dough point upwards. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Place one cheese cube in center of each pastry. Bake an additional 10 minutes, until edges are golden. Remove pastries from tin; immediately top each with 1/2 teaspoon jelly. Serve warm.

2/3 pound brie cheese
1/2 cup hot pepper jelly

Steps:

  • Cut Brie into 1/2" squares and freeze for 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 400.
  • lightly grease a mini muffin tin. You can also do this on a rimmed baking sheet, just line it with foil.
  • Put a piece of cheese in each cup.
  • Top with 1/4-1/2 tsp of jelly.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes. Check to be sure cheese is melted.
