This is a delicious and easy recipe. My kids love it. It can be made the day before and refrigerated. Good served over rice.

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
4 slices bacon
1 (4 ounce) jar dried beef
1 cup sour cream
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

Steps:

  • Shred beef, and spread into the bottom of a greased 8 inch square baking dish.
  • Wrap each chicken breast with 1 strip of bacon, and lay on top of beef.
  • Mix together undiluted soup and sour cream. Pour over chicken.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
pepper
6 slices lean bacon
1 (4 ounce) package Hormel dried beef
2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened to room temp

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°F
  • Pepper, but do not salt, chicken breasts.
  • Wrap slice of bacon around each.
  • Place layer of drid beef (not corned beef) in bottom of oil sprayed baking dish.
  • Place wrapped chicken breasts on top.
  • In a food processor, combine soups sour cream and cream cheese; pulse to blend well.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Cover tightly with foil; bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  • Remove foil and place under broiler to golden brown.
  • Serve over rice with sauce.

BAKED CHICKEN BREASTS (MICROWAVE)

Number Of Ingredients 11

6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup dairy sour cream
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup margarine

Steps:

  • Rinse and dry 6 chicken breast halves with paper towels. In a 2-quart dish, combine sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add chicken to sour cream mixture, coating each piece well. Let stand, covered, in refrigerator overnight, or at least 8 hours. Carefully remove coated chicken from sour cream mixture. Roll in crumbs, coating evenly. Arrange single layer in an 8-inch square shallow baking dish. Micromelt margarine in a 1-cup measure on HIGH 1 minute and drizzle over chicken. Microwave on HIGH 10 minutes or until chicken is tender. Editor's Extra: A superb dish even if you don't let it marinate a long time.
