Steps:
- firstly, prepare the sauce by heating 3 tsp oil and saute 2 clove garlic, 1 inch ginger and 2 green chilli.
- also, add 2 tbsp spring onion and saute on high flame.
- furthermore, add ¼ onion and ¼ capsicum. saute slightly till the blisters appear.
- now add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp chilli sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, ¼ tsp pepper, ¼ tsp sugar and ¼ tsp salt.
- saute on high flame till the sauce thickens.
- pour the corn flour water and stir continuously till the gravy thickens and turns glossy.
- add in fried mushroom and mix gently coating sauce well.
- finally, serve chilli mushroom recipe garnished with few chopped spring onions along with fried rice.

- Soak the mushrooms in some lukewarm water for some time and then drain the excess water. Then take another bowl and mix together the cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, soy sauce, vinegar and pepper powder in it.
- Once the mixture is ready, add the mushrooms in the bowl and mix well. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium flame. Fry the coated mushrooms until golden brown and crisp. Remove and drain the extra oil. Retain 2 tsp oil in the pan and remove the excess.
- Add ginger, garlic, onions and green chillies in the pan and saute for a minute or two. Once the onions turn slightly translucent, add the red chilli sauce and little water, if desired. Once the red gravy is cooked, add the mushrooms and stir well.
- Cook the mushrooms until all the moisture has evaporated and then transfer the dish to a serving bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves and spring onions. Pair it with cola or any other chilled beverage. Enjoy!
