1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ French vanilla cake mix
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons water
2 eggs
1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks (from 11.5-oz bag)
1/3 cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease or spray bottom only of 13x9-inch pan. In large bowl, mix cake mix, butter, water and eggs with spoon. Stir in chocolate chunks. Spread evenly in pan.
  • Bake 21 to 26 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave frosting uncovered on High 20 to 25 seconds or until melted; stir. Drizzle over bars. Let stand about 30 minutes or until frosting is set. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Or for triangles, cut bars into 6 rows by 2 rows, then cut each bar diagonally in half to form triangles. Store covered at room temperature.

1/2 cup butter, melted
2 large eggs, lightly beaten, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla just until blended. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; add to brown sugar mixture. 1 (19 ounce) box French vanilla cake mix (Pillsbury makes one)
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 large egg whites
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chunk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Grease bottom only of a 9 x 13 pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Mix cake mix, buter and egg whites and milk in a large bowl with a spoon. Stir in chocolate chunks. Spread evenly in pan.
  • Bake for 20 to 22 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Cut and serve.
  • Makes about 24 bars. (6 x 4 rows).

1 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
½ cup granulated sugar
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp kosher salt
1 ½ cups chopped walnuts
1 ¼ lb(s) semisweet chocolate chunks, such as Nestle's

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour an 8 x 12 x 2 inch baking pan.
  • In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar on high speed for 3 minutes, until light and fluffy. With the mixer on low, add the vanilla, then the eggs, one at a time, and mix well, scraping down the bowl. In a small bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda and salt and with the mixer still on low, slowly add flour mixture to the butter mixture. Fold the walnuts and chocolate chunks in with a rubber spatula.
  • Spread the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30 minutes exactly. Don't overbake! A toothpick may not come out clean. Cool completely in the pan and cut into bars.

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper, set aside.
  • Melt the butter, set it aside to cool slightly as you continue with the next steps.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, and salt, set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir until combined with no dry patches. Add the chocolate chunks and stir them in.

1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S White Chocolate, chopped

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Mix flour and baking powder until blended. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture until blended. Add chocolates; mix well.
  • Spread onto bottom of prepared pan.
