Whenever I take these to a gathering, someone will usually announce. "Lisa brought those brownies"-and everyone knows exactly which ones they are! We live on 10-1/2 acres out in the country with our daughters, 7 and 4.

- Preheat oven to 325°. Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate and butter on high until butter is melted; stir until smooth. Whisk in sugar until blended. Whisk in extracts and eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour mixture. Pour half of the batter into a greased 8-in. square baking dish., Beat together filling ingredients until blended; spoon over batter in pan. Spoon remaining batter over top. Swirl gently with a knife., Bake until filling is set, 35-40 minutes. Cool in pan on a wire rack 1 hour. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Cut into bars. Refrigerate leftovers.

- PREHEAT oven to 350º F. Grease 9-inch-square baking pan.
- Microwave chocolate pieces in medium, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 45 seconds; stir.
- If pieces retain some of their original shape, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until melted; cool to room temperature.
- Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar in small mixer bowl until smooth. Beat in 1 egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Combine flour and salt in small bowl.
- Beat remaining 3/4 cup sugar and butter in medium mixer bowl until creamy.

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Butter and lighly flour 8x8-inch cake pan.
- Combine the flour and salt. Set aside.
- Melt the butter in a small, heavy-based saucepan, then stir in the cocoa until blended and set aside.
- Beat the eggs until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the sugar and stir in the chocolate mixture.
- Sift the flour/salt mixture over the top and fold into the mixture.
- Add vanilla.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray the bottom and sides of a jelly roll pan with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, and eggs in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle until smooth; add vanilla extract and mix for 1 more minute.

- First, prepare the cream cheese batter. In a medium bowl blend together melted chocolate chips, egg, cream cheese, sugar, flour, and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.
- In a large bowl prepare the brownie batter by mixing the melted butter and cocoa powder until smooth. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Mix well. Add cream cheese batter to brownie batter and mix until incorporated. Gently stir in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter in a greased, foil-lined 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan. (9x9 inch pan will yield thinner brownies) Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out mostly clean. Allow to cool completely.
- When the brownies are cooled, prepare the frosting. Blend together melted chocolate and cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla and mix again until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar. Add milk to thin frosting to a spreadable consistency. Spread on cooled brownies. Allow frosting to set up (at least 30 minutes) before cutting into squares. Store in airtight container.
