DARK CHOCOLATE DIPPED ANISE BISCOTTI

Dark Chocolate Dipped Anise Biscotti image

I found this in the November 2007 edition of Cooking Light. These were wonderful. The dough was perfect. It did not crumble at all. To save calories, I did not dip the biscotti in the chocolate, but I am sure the chocolate would only make them more delicious.

HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE CHIP BISCOTTI WITH ANISE - FOOD, BOOKS, KIDS.
2021-11-08 Not that a chocolate chip cookie can be boring. And this chocolate chip biscotti with anise is anything but boring. What makes this recipe is the anise seed. It adds a black liquorice flavour that cuts the sweetness of the semi-sweet chocolate chips. And they have a twice baked crunch from the double baking that’s common with biscotti.
