Steps:
- Grab an oven tray and line with baking paper. Place dark chocolate in a bowl and pop in the microwave for 15 second intervals, stirring in between, until just melted. Set aside. Then add your peanut butter in a separate bowl and pop into the microwave for about 10 seconds or so until it becomes nice and runny.
- Spread the dark chocolate out onto your prepared tray in a thin layer. Then dollop the peanut butter all over the top and gently swirl using a butter knife.
- Add a layer of pretzels over the top. Finally pop your M&M's all over in any gaps you can find. Refrigerate the bark for at least 2-3 hours or until the chocolate has set and become firm. Then break up the bark into uneven pieces using a knife and devour.
PRETZEL AND PEANUT BUTTER BARK
If you like chocolate, peanut butter, and pretzels, you can't go wrong with this bark; it has just the right amount of salty and sweet. This is my own creation, a modification of a mini-pretzel and peanut butter sandwich dipped in chocolate, created by my daughter. I hope you enjoy! This makes a great gift in holiday bags for Christmas and Easter.

- Prepare a nonstick work surface using a silicone mat or parchment paper to be approximately 18 inches x 9 inches (that's TOTALLY a guesstimate, I just ripped off a long piece of parchment paper).
- Spread it on the prepared work surface using an angled spatula or knife until it is about 1/8-inch (FYI, I really don't actually measure the thickness of my bark, but I get this question from readers a lot, so that's my best approximation for you).
- Place the peanut butter in a small zip top bag, pushing it all the way down to one of the corners. Twist the top like a piping bag. Place in the microwave and heat for 15-20 seconds until PB is warm through.

- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment. Sprinkle your pretzels on top of the parchment. Pro tip: if you're adding any toppings, make sure you chop them now.
- Add your chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave at 50% less power for 30 seconds. Allow it to rest for 30 seconds, and then microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Repeat this cycle one more time or until the chocolate is mostly melted. Stir gently with a spoon until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate over the pretzels, moving it around the pan to try to get as much coverage as possible. Use a silicone spatula and bring any wayward pretzels towards the chocolate. Pro tip: if you're adding any toppings, do so now.
- Allow the bark to fully cool. If your kitchen is warm, you can place the pan in the fridge or freezer for 20-60 minutes.
