CINNAMON SUGAR PIZZA

Dessert pizza is a fun way to end a meal, and this recipe is quick and easy to pull together.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 store bought pizza dough
2 1/2 tablespoons butter - room temperature
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar - packed
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Brush pizza pan or sheet pan with butter - about 1 teaspoon.
  • In a medium size bowl, mix flour, sugars, 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of butter until crumbly. Set aside.
  • Place dough on pan and brush with remaining butter. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon over dough.
  • Spread crumble over pizza and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • While pizza is baking, mix glaze.
  • Let pizza cool for 10 minutes then drizzle on glaze.

PIZZA CRUST
1 can(s) pillsbury crescent rolls
1/4 c butter, cold
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c flour
pinch of salt
GLAZE
1/2 c powdered sugar
1 Tbsp butter, soft
1 1/4 tsp vanilla
1-1 1/2 Tbsp milk

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400. Cut in butter to sugars, cinnamon, salt and flour to form crumbles. On ungreased cookie sheet separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles.
  • 2. Sprinkle with crumbs and bake 8 to 12 minutes. After cooled cut into smaller triangles and drizzle with glaze.
