Very Berry Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie image

Who knew a smoothie could taste so amazing while packing in anti-inflammatory benefits! I use a Vitamix® blender and I do not hull the strawberries. If your blender is a different brand, you will need to hull the strawberries.

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
¾ cup fresh strawberries
¾ cup seedless red grapes
½ cup frozen blueberries
½ teaspoon ground turmeric

Steps:

  • Pour almond milk into a high-frequency blender (such as Vitamix®). Add cherries, strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and turmeric.
  • Secure lid, and turn onto variable speed 1. Increase speed to variable 10. Blend for 30 to 45 seconds.

1 cup ice cube
1/3 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
2 tablespoons vodka
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon snipped of fresh mint
mint sprig (to garnish)

Steps:

  • Blend berries, ice, juice, vodka, sugar and mint about 2 minutes, or until smooth. Some seeds will remain.
  • Transfer to large glasses and garnish with mint springs.
