Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8"x8" baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large microwave-safe mixing bowl, add butter and white chocolate chips and heat for 30 seconds. Stir the mixture with a spatula. Microwave again for another 15 seconds and stir again. If chocolate is not completely melted and uniform, heat for another 15 seconds as needed. Careful not to heat too much or you will burn your chocolate.
- Add in egg, condensed milk, and salt. Stir until uniform. Fold in flour, stirring until just combined. Sprinkle in 5 crushed Oreos (I crumbled them between my fingers). Gently fold into batter. Pour batter into baking pan and smooth surface with spatula. Sprinkle remaining crushed Oreos over surface.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes. The surface should turn a light brown and cake will still be a little gooey if you insert a knife or toothpick into the center. Let brownies cool for at least 1 hour before cutting and serving.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 inch pan or line it with parchment paper that sticks up above the sides, which can be used to lift the finished brownies out of the pan and make cutting easier. Set pan aside.
- 2. Combine the butter and chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and heat in 20-30 second increments, stirring well after each, until melted and smooth.
- 3. Add the sugar and whisk until combined.
- 4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and whisk together to combine.
- 5. Add the cocoa, flour and salt and stir with a rubber or wooden spatula until well combined. Batter will be very thick.
- 6. Stir in the chopped Oreos.
- 7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan, then bake for 25-30 minutes. To test the brownies for being done, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out with just a few moist crumbs, they're done.
- 8. Set the brownies aside to cool. When mostly cool, make the cookies and cream layer.
- 9. Add the white chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream to a large microwave safe bowl and heat in 20-30 second increments, stirring well after each, until melted and smooth. Mixture will be thick.
- 10. Stir in the powdered sugar and chopped Oreos, then spread evenly on top of the brownies. The mixture will be thick, just use your spatula to help spread it.
- 11. Allow the brownies to cool completely, then cut into squares. The cookies and cream layer will be quite firm to the touch, but great on top of the brownies.
- 12. Store the leftover brownies in an air tight container at room temperature for up to a week.

COOKIES & CREAM BROWNIES
You won't want to frost these brownies, since the marbled top is too pretty to cover up. Besides, the tasty cream cheese layer makes them taste as if they're already frosted. The crushed cookies add extra chocolate flavor and a fun crunch. -Darlene Brenden, Salem, Oregon

- Line a 13 x 9-inch cake pan with aluminum foil. Spray the bottom with cooking spray. Spread half of the brownie mix into the cake pan. Place the candy bars as close as possible to one another on the batter. You may have to break up one of the bars. Cover with remaining batter.
- Since you are doubling up on the cake batter, these take about 35 - 40 minutes to bake. You can test their doneness by inserting a toothpick in the center. When it comes out clean, your brownies are done.
- When the browinies are cool, the aluminum foil allows you to easily lift the brownies out of the pan and makes cutting them a breeze.

- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line the bottom and sides of a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to lift the finished brownies out (makes cutting easier!). Set aside.
- Prepare brownie batter. Spread into prepared baking pan. My homemade brownie batter is very thick, so do your best to spread it to the edges. Doesn’t have to be perfectly neat. Press 24 Oreos down into the top of the brownie batter; you want 6 rows of 4 Oreos.
- Bake for 32 minutes, then test the brownies with a toothpick. Insert it into the center of the pan. If it comes out with wet batter, the brownies are not done. If there are only a few moist crumbs, the brownies are done. Keep checking every 2 minutes until you have moist crumbs. My homemade brownies with Oreos on top take about 35 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool completely in the pan. Once cool, lift the parchment paper out of the pan using the overhang on the sides. Do not cut into squares yet. (TIP: It’s helpful to place the whole slab of brownies (parchment paper still underneath) on a baking sheet because you will need to chill the layers. The baking sheet makes transporting to the refrigerator easier!)
