Kosher salt
1 lb. spaghetti
2 tbsp. canola oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup dry white wine
1 lb. jumbo lump crabmeat
2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh dill
1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh mint
2 tsp. grated lemon zest
EVOO for drizzling
Fresh ground pepper

Steps:

Bring salted water to boil and cook spaghetti to al dente. Reserve 1 cup water. Heat canola oil in large sauce pan over medium heat. Add garlic until golden brown, 3 min. Add wine and cook until reduced by half, about 5 min. Add crab and cook until just heated through, about 1 min. Add pasta and some waterloo pan and cook for another minute. Stir in parasol, dill, mint and lemon zest. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Ingredients

1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat
1 medium yellow onion, chopped fine
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 to 3/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 lime juice
1/4 cup fresh parsley
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Steps:

Heat medium skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil and sauté onions and garlic for 5 to 7 minutes. Let cool. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until blended. Shape into 6 thick patties, like hockey pucks. Place on plate, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Heat oven to 350°F. Place crab cakes in sprayed pyrex dish. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Heat skillet over medium high heat and add 3 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. Cook patties for about 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crisp. Transfer crab cakes to plate with paper towel to drain. Serve hot with aioli.

I made this up once when I was short on groceries. Surprisingly, it was super easy! The amounts for the spices are just my recommendation, but really it's just to taste.

1 (16 ounce) package dry farfalle (bow tie) pasta
½ cup butter
1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained and flaked
1 (14.5 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes, drained
1 ½ tablespoons red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add farfalle pasta, cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente, and drain.
Melt the butter in a separate pot. Mix in crabmeat and tomatoes. Season with red pepper, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Cook and stir 10 minutes. Toss with cooked pasta to serve.
