GARLIC BREAD RECIPE
My homemade garlic bread is golden and crispy with plenty of garlic butter. I love that slightly salty, warm buttery taste!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 175C/350F.
- Slice the ciabatta in half, lengthways and place on a baking tray cut-side up.
- Place the butter, salt, garlic and dried parsley in a bowl and mix together until combined.
- Spread the butter on the cut side of the ciabatta, so it's spread on pretty thickly - I use a butter knife of the back of a spoon for this. If you're using thickly sliced bread, spread the mixture on one side of the bread, so the butter side is facing up when it's on the baking tray.
- Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges of the bread are golden and the butter has melted into the bread.
- Remove from the oven and carefully slice each piece of bread into 6 slices. Sprinkle on a the fresh parsley before serving.

- Slice the French bread into pieces. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients for Garlic Butter Spread together.
- Brush the Garlic Bread Spread on the French bread, until the spread is used up, about 8 - 10 pieces, depending on the size of the French bread.
- Heat up a cast-iron skillet on medium heat. Toast the garlic bread on the skillet, with the spread side down. Toast for about 2 minutes, using a pair of tong to check. Make sure the garlic bread is toasted to golden brown. Serve immediately.

KOREAN GARLIC BREAD
Korean Garlic Bread is one of my favourite sides. It is so soft, creamy and full of delicious garlicky cheese flavour.

Steps:
- Slice buns into a star shape (8 wedges), without cutting all the way through.
- Fill the buns with softened cream cheese leaving enough to add a little extra on top of the buns at the end.
- Make the butter by combining all the ingredients listed under Garlic Butter in a large pot.
- Dunk the buns into the garlic butter.
- Add more cream cheese in the middle of the bun.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180C/Gas Mark 4 for 25 minutes.

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Using a serrated knife, slice through the loaf of bread horizontally to make two evenly-sized slabs. Place them on a large, rimmed baking sheet (lined with parchment paper for easy clean-up, if desired).
- Remove the cloves of roasted garlic from the heads. In a shallow bowl or plate, mash the cloves with a fork until mostly smooth. Add the butter and salt and mash it all together until evenly combined. Scoop half of the mixture onto the cut side of one piece of bread, and spread it evenly across with a butter knife or spatula. Repeat with the remaining garlic on the remaining bread.
- Bake for 5 minutes (for softer bread) or 10 to 12 minutes, until golden at the edges and crisp enough to resist a gentle squeeze (for toasted bread as shown in photos).
- Sprinkle with parsley. Once cool enough to handle, slice into pieces about 2 to 3 inches wide with a serrated knife. Serve promptly. Bread should be consumed or refrigerated within 2 hours.
