  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Whisk together the salt, pepper, paprika, sugar, garlic powder, oil, and vinegar until sugar is dissolved.
  • Add sour cream and whisk the mixture briskly to combine.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Make this creamy salad dressing with fat free sour cream. No one will ever guess it's healthy! My husband loves it. You can also make it with fat free plain yogurt which is also yummy!

1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp paprika
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 c sour cream, fat-free
1 dash(es) tabasco sauce, optional

Steps:

  • 1. Stir together garlic salt, pepper, sugar, and paprika with lemon juice and vinegar until salt and sugar are dissolved.
  • 2. Whisk in sour cream and tabasco sauce if using. Continue whisking until smooth.
  • 3. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 small clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Pinch of sugar
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon grated pecorino romano cheese

Steps:

  • Whisk the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, olive oil, garlic, oregano, sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper in a medium bowl. Stir in the parsley, parmesan and pecorino. Season with more salt and pepper. (The dressing will keep, refrigerated, up to 1 week.)
