PEANUT BUTTER CRISPIES II

Steps:

• In a medium sauce pan, mix together sugar, peanut butter, and corn syrup. Be careful not to let it burn, or it will ruin the recipe. Stir mixture until well melted. Remove pan from heat.
• Combine warm peanut butter mixture with crisp rice cereal.
• Grease well a 9 x 13 inch pan with butter or margarine. Spread mixture in pan. Allow to cool. When mixture is no longer sticky to the touch, cut into bars.

CRISPIX PEANUT BUTTER TREAT

Steps:

• 1. In 3-quart saucepan, over medium heat, bring corn syrup to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in peanut butter until well combined. Remove from heat. Stir in KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal until evenly coated. Spread cereal mixture in 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan or cookie sheet coated with cooking spray or lined with waxed paper.2. Melt milk chocolate bar over low heat, stirring constantly. Drizzle melted chocolate over top of cereal mixture. Chill in refrigerator. Break into bite-size pieces to serve. Store in airtight container.

PEANUT BUTTER MARSHMALLOW TREATS

Steps:

• Spray rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches, with cooking spray. Place margarine, peanut butter and marshmallows in large microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute 30 seconds to 3 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until mixture is melted and smooth when stirred. Stir in cereal until well coated.
• Press mixture in pan, using buttered back of spoon. Immediately make 24 indentations in rows (6x4) in mixture using handle of wooden spoon. Press peanut butter cups into indentations; cool. Cut into squares.

CRISPIX SWEET MINGLERS

Steps:

• In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate on HIGH for 1 minute.
• Stir and heat an additional 30 seconds at HIGH or until melted.
• Stir in peanut butter and peanuts.
• Gently stir in cereal, until well coated.
• Place powdered sugar in 2-gallon storage bag.
• Add cereal and close bag.
• Gently toss cereal mixture until well-coated.
• Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
• Note: You can make this on the stove-top.
• Use a double boiler to melt chocolate, stirring constantly.
• Remove from heat.
• Stir in peanut butter and peanuts.
• Pour mixture over cereal and proceed with recipe.

CRISPIX MIX PEANUT BUTTER SNACK

Steps:

• In microwave-safe bowl, microwave corn syrup for 1 minute or until it boils. Stir in peanut butter. Gently add KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal, stirring until well coated.
• Spread mixture onto waxed paper lined or greased 10x15-inch pan. In microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate on medium for 45 seconds or until melted. Drizzle chocolate over mixture. Chill. Break into bite-size pieces. Store in airtight container.

CRISPIX MIX CEREAL PEANUT MIX

Steps:

• 1. Combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal, pretzels and peanuts in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Set aside.2. In small saucepan, combine margarine and peanut butter. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring to coat evenly.3. Bake at 350°F about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven. Stir in raisins. Spread on paper towel to cool. Store in airtight container.

NANCY'S CRISPIX TREAT

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Spray two 9x13" pans or cookie sheets with sides. Put 1/2 of Crispix and nuts in each pan and be sure they are mixed.
• Melt butter, add syrup and sugar and bring to a boil. Drizzle syrup over cereal and nuts dividing it equally between the pans.
• Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring carefully every 15 minutes.
• Put on sprayed foil when done and allow to cool slightly. Break into chunks while warm. Store in a closed container.
