CROCK POT 15 BEAN SOUP RECIPE
Crock Pot 15 Bean Soup Recipe is a warm and delicious dried bean soup recipe that is easy to make when you start with no soak dry bean soup recipe.

Steps:
- Brown a 1 lb roll of pork sausage, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Drain the sausage well. Add it to a 6 or 7-quart size crock pot.
- Pour the beans into a large colander being sure to remove the ham seasoning pack and setting it aside. Rinse the beans under cold running water and remove any bad beans or debris.
- Add the dried and rinsed beans, diced onion, minced garlic and the can of diced tomatoes to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Next add the bay leaves, salt, pepper, oregano and the packet of ham soup seasoning to the slow cooker.
- Pour the chicken broth into the crock pot a mix the ingredients together well.
- Cover and cook on high for 7-8 hours.
- Makes about 8 servings.

Steps:
- Add beans to a large bowl or pot, and cover with 8 cups of water. Leave overnight. Discard the soaking water.
- Combine onion, garlic, carrots, celery, black pepper, thyme, bay leaf, soy sauce, chicken broth, and diced tomatoes in slow cooker. Add the hambone in too.
- Add beans to slow cooker, mix well, and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Remove ham bone and bay leaves from soup, discard.
- Devour.

I was looking for a 15 Bean soup online, I found a recipe but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. So, I omitted some stuff and this is what I came out with.. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Place beans in strainer and rinse.
- After rinsing, place beans in bowl and cover completely with water. After a couple of hours, rinse and refill water level.
- Soak overnight.
- Next day, rinse beans and place in crock pot.
- Combine all ingredients except sausage.
- Cover.
- Cook on low heat for 6 hours.
- Saute cubed sausage in pan.
- Put sausage and drippings, if any, in soup.
- Continue cooking on low for another 2 hours.
- Enjoy!

- In a colander or sieve, rinse beans thoroughly. Sort and inspect for any unwanted debris and discard.
- Drain and pour beans in a slow cooker with 8 cups of stock/water, onions, garlic, and meat or hambone. (Not tomato or lemon juice yet!). Use 9-10 cups of liquid if you like a more "brothy" soup.
- Stir to combine. Set slow cooker on high and cook for 5-7 hours then check to make sure beans are tender. The soup can continue to simmer for several hours and will develop more flavor over time.
- After the beans are tender, remove the hambone (leave any ham in the pot), stir in the can of diced tomatoes, our Ham Flavor packet, optional chili powder, and the lemon juice.
