CROCK-POT CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING RECIPE

- Grease the bottom and sides of a 5 quart or larger slow cooker OR a 3.5 quart casserole slow cooker with butter or non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Add bread cubes, raisins and chocolate chips to the slow cooker.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- Pour egg mixture over the bread mixture in the slow cooker and gently toss to ensure all bread is covered in the egg mixture.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2.5 to 3 hours.

TRIPLE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING
A decadent rich desert! Bread pudding is no longer white with rasins anymore. Chocolate chunks, cocoa, and surprise...chocolate milk make up the triple threat. Make sure to serve warm with vanilla ice cream over the top!

Steps:
- Tear the bread into chunks approximately 1 inch square.
- Toss them in a bowl with the melted butter, walnuts, and chocolate chunks.
- Spread the mixture in a buttered 9 x 13 x 2 baking dish.
- Beat the eggs slightly.
- Beat in the sugar, cocoa, salt, chocolate milk, and vanilla.
- Pour this mixture over the bread.
- Let it stand for at least 1/2 hour.
- With a broad spatula, occasionally push the bread down into the liquid as it soaks.
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until the pudding is puffed and just set.
- Rush it to the table and serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

- Spray to inside of the slow cooker insert with cooking spray.
- Place the bread, dried fruit & choc chips in the cooker.
- Beat the milk, eggs, sugar, cocoa & extractuntil combined and then pour over bread mixture, pushing the bread cubes into the liquid to coat.
- Cover & cook on low for 2 1/2-3 hours or until set.

CHOCOLATE CROISSANT BREAD PUDDING
I love bread pudding and I love chocolate croissants. Why not combine them? My daughters love chocolate, so this was a winner in my house. It's like a combination of a soft-brownie-cakey-chocolate-chip-cookie with a bit of a creamy texture inside. It tastes good warm, as all melted chocolate desserts do, but even better cooled. My daughters couldn't wait to eat, so good luck holding out for it to cool.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray muffin cups or brownie pan with cooking spray.
- Mix milk, cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract together in a bowl. Scrape the insides from each vanilla bean half into the milk mixture. Stir milk mixture until smooth and light yellow in color. Carefully stir croissant pieces into milk mixture until all pieces are wet; let soak for at least 10 minutes.
- Fold chocolate chips into croissant mixture. Spoon croissant mixture into the prepared muffin cups.
- Bake in the preheated oven until bubbling and golden brown, 35 to 45 minutes. Cool pudding for 30 minutes to 1 hour; transfer to a plate and sift powdered sugar over each.
