*1.5 oz. tequila
1 packet (two 5-calorie servings) sugar-free powdered drink mix, lemonade (like the one by Crystal Light) 2 tbsp. lime juice
Optional: lime slice for garnish and salt or no-calorie sweetener for rim of glass

Steps:

  • If desired, run some lime juice along the rim of the glass and dip into a dish of salt or sweetener. Mix all ingredients together. Pour over 1 cup of crushed ice. Optional: Garnish with lime slice. Enjoy.

  • Add diet soda and stir; pour over crushed ice and garnish with lime slice, if desired.

I had Crystal Light Margarita mix at my Saturday BUNKO Supper Club and it was delish. Although we did not have any alcohol in it, I thought you could make a sugar-free margarita by using this mix and adding tequilla.

1 package(s) margarita crystal light mix
- 1 - 2 shots tequilla
- sliced limes
- salt for rim of glasses

Steps:

  • This mix is non-alcoholic; however, to make a sugar free Margarita with alcohol, prepare the Margarita mix as directed on package. Add 1 - 2 shots of Tequilla; slice some limes; put some lime juice on the rim of the glasses and dip them in salt; pour the Margarita drink mixed with Tequilla in a glass over ice and put some sliced limes on the side of the glass. DELISH!
  • I understand the Crystal Light Margarita mix is not available in all stores. I do not know what store our hostess found it but I will find out as it might be in Wal-Mart Super-Centers. This was so refreshing!!
