Steps:
- Sift the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
- Make a hole in the middle and slowly need the dough for 8-10 minutes.
- Put the dough in an oiled bowl and cover it with a damp tea towl. Put in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.
- Break the dough into 4 balls.
- Heat a baking sheet under the grill.
- Roll the balls into teardrop shapes and sprinkle the garlic on and press into the dough.
- Put under the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Brush with dairy free spread and serve hot.

SUPER EASY NAAN BREAD
My usual naan recipe calls for milk and an egg, but since I had neither in the house tonight, I improvised. This is a super simple 5-ingredient naan bread and it came out great!

Steps:
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add salt and flour. Mix thoroughly. Knead dough on a floured workspace about 20 times and form into a tight ball. Put dough in a well oiled bowl and cover with a damp towel.
- Put in a warm place to rise for 30-45 minutes. Dough won't rise much, but it doesn't need to.
- Turn dough out onto a floured workspace. Divide dough into 8 pieces and roll out with a rolling pin to about 1/8" thick.
- Grill naan pieces on a grill or electric griddle. In a pinch, a frying pan sprayed with some nonstick cooking spray will work. Grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- This recipe yields a very soft, chewey naan. Just the way I like it!

- In a small bowl, gently stir together water, sugar and yeast. Allow it to activate until it is foamy on top.
- In a large bowl with an electric mixer *affiliate link (dough hook), add activated yeast, flour, and remaining ingredients. Beat with dough hook at medium speed until a ball has formed. Remove bowl from mixer and cover with a damp towel. Let sit in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- When dough has doubled in size, divide into eight small balls. Heat a skillet over medium high and stir together garlic and oil.
- Roll each ball to 1/4-inch thickness and place in hot pan, one at a time, brushing with garlic/oil mixture. When dough has started to bubble, flip to other side and brush again with oil. Sprinkle with coarse salt and herbs. Repeat with remaining dough.

- Using a spatula, fold until mostly combined. Sprinkle a little more flour if needed to not be sticky and form a ball.
- Once ball is formed, grease the same bowl mixed in and place the dough ball back into the bowl. *If you are oil free, then just make sure sides of bowl are floured, or use a silicone bowl to easily get it out
