ALL-AMERICAN BARBECUE SAUCE
I'm very excited to show you my take on America's most popular style of barbecue sauce--which of course originated in and around Kansas City. After you make a batch of this and taste just how incredible it is, I don't think you'll ever buy that stuff from the store again. Sauce may be used right away, but for best results, wrap and refrigerate for a day or two before using to allow the flavors to develop.

- Combine ketchup, brown sugar, molasses, vinegar, paprika, chili powder, cayenne, black pepper, allspice, coriander, and cumin in a mixing bowl and whisk thoroughly.

Steps:
- In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Stir in cayenne pepper, onion, celery, green bell pepper, garlic, and crushed tomatoes.
- Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix in tomato paste, water, white sugar, brown sugar, oregano, basil, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and white sugar.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Enjoy!
DANNY'S SAUCE FOR BURGERS
This recipe comes from Danny's Restaurant in Bathurst, New Brunswick. The sauce is spooned into the middle of and then over a cheeseburger, so a fork and knife is needed to eat this bad boy!
