- Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Arrange apple slices evenly in prepared baking dish. Sift flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter using a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal; sprinkle over apples.
- Bake in preheated oven until topping is golden, 40 to 45 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.

- Preheat oven to 375°. Place apples in a large bowl. Combine sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle over apples and toss to coat. Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. EASY FANCY APPLE CRISP
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350. Peel the apples, keep the round top slices of the apples for topping. Put the apples in pan (9x9 is what I use). Slice half of the stick of butter and place in between apples in pan. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp of cinnamon. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl, leaving out the apple top skins. Sprinkle mixture on top of the apples. Lastly place the apple top skins on the top and bake for 30- 45 min or until desired crispness is achieved. Serve plain or however you want the combinations are endless!! ENJOY!

- Toss sliced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Mix flour, rolled oats, wheat and barley nugget cereal, melted butter, 1/4 cup white sugar, and 1/4 cup brown sugar together in a large bowl.
