BANANA SPLIT DESSERT

Steps:

• In a small bowl, combine crumbs and melted butter. Set aside 1/2 cup; press remaining crumbs into a 15x10x1-in. pan. Slice bananas widthwise and layer over crust. Cut ice cream widthwise into 10 slices; place over bananas. Spread edges of ice cream slices to cover banana and form a smooth layer. Sprinkle with nuts. Cover and freeze until firm. , In a large saucepan, melt chocolate chips and butter; stir until smooth. Pour over ice cream; freeze until firm. , In a large bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks form; spread over chocolate layer. Top with reserved crumbs. Store in freezer (will keep for several weeks). Remove from freezer about 10 minutes before serving.

FROZEN BANANA-SPLIT DESSERT

Steps:

• Spray 8-inch square pan with cooking spray. In small bowl, mix crushed crackers and 2 tablespoons sugar. Stir in melted butter until crumbly and well blended. Press mixture in bottom of pan. Freeze about 10 minutes or until set.
• Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, mix pudding mix, 1/2 cup sugar and the milk with wire whisk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil. Cool 10 minutes at room temperature. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
• Stir bananas into pudding. Fold in 1 cup of the whipped topping. Spread over crust. Freeze at least 3 hours or overnight.
• Cut into serving pieces; place on dessert plates. Top each piece with 2 teaspoons hot fudge topping, generous tablespoonful of remaining whipped topping, 2 tablespoons strawberries, 2 tablespoons pineapple. Serve immediately.

FROZEN BANANA SPLIT PIE

Steps:

• Pour chocolate topping into crust; freeze for 5 minutes or until chocolate is firm. , Meanwhile, place bananas in a small bowl; toss with lemon juice. Arrange bananas over chocolate topping. Layer with pineapple topping, ice cream, whipped topping and walnuts. , Cover and freeze until firm. Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before cutting. Garnish with chocolate syrup and cherries.

BROILED BANANA SPLITS

Steps:

• Mix 1 tablespoon brown sugar with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Halve 4 bananas lengthwise; brush with 1 tablespoon melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar. Wrap in foil and broil until golden, about 3 minutes. Top with frozen yogurt, toasted almonds and chopped chocolate and/or raspberries.

BANANA SPLIT DESSERT

Steps:

• In a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan stir together graham cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons of the sugar and butter. Press firmly into bottom of pan.
• In large mixing bowl beat cream cheese and remaining sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Spread evenly over crumb crust.
• Slice bananas and place on top of cheese mixture. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup.
• Spoon drained pineapple over bananas. Spread Cool Whip over top. Sprinkle with pecans and cherries. Drizzle with remaining chocolate syrup.
• Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.

FROZEN YOGURT BANANA SPLITS

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place coconut shavings on prepared baking sheet. Transfer to the heated oven and bake until crisply toasted and pale golden brown, about 8 minutes.
• Meanwhile, combine strawberries, mango, and sugar in a medium bowl. Let stand 5 minutes.
• Place 1 split banana in each of 6 dishes. Divide frozen yogurt in each of six dishes. Spoon over strawberry mango mixture and juices. Sprinkle with toasted coconut curls. Garnish with mint and serve immediately.

BANANA SPLIT DELIGHT

Steps:

• Combine graham cracker crumbs, margarine, and sugar in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Press cracker mixture into the baking dish with the back of a spoon to form a crust.
• Stir pineapple, cherry pie filling, bananas, sweetened condensed milk, coconut, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until evenly mixed. Fold whipped topping into pineapple mixture and spread over cracker crush. Sprinkle with pecans and drizzle with ice cream topping. Refrigerate until chilled, about 30 minutes.
