GAMMON STEAKS WITH PINEAPPLE

Steps:

• Heat oil in frypan.
• Add steaks and pineapple.
• Fry for two minutes each side, or until golden.
• Fry eggs.
• Serve with pineapple on top of gammon with egg on side with a plate of hot chips and mayonnaise.

GAMMON STEAKS WITH PINEAPPLE AND CHEESE

Steps:

• Season the gammon steaks with the salt and pepper.
• Drain the pineapple, save the juice.
• Heat the butter and oil in a skillet and fry the steaks on both sides till just done, set aside to keep warm.
• Fry the pineapple slices till golden, set aside.
• Stir the flour into the pan and add the juice and sherry, bring to the boil, reduce heat simmer till sauce thicken.
• Place a slice of cheese on each steak then a slice of the pineapple, fill the centre of the pineapple slice with ketchup.
• Serve with the sauce on the side.

GAMMON STEAK WITH PINEAPPLE

Steps:

• Heat the grill. Snip the gammon rind at intervals. Brush or wipe both sides of the gammon with a smear of oil. Place the gammon the grid of the grill pan and cook each side under the hot grill for 3-5 minutes, until brown. Put the pineapple slices on top of the gammon and heat for a few minutes, or fry the egg in a frying pan, in a little hot fat. Serve the gammon with the pineapple slices or with the egg on top.
