This air fryer chicken wing recipe turns a few ingredients into perfectly crispy, juicy wings coated in a garlicky parmesan butter. Perfect for game day!

1 pound chicken wings
4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Steps:

  • Spray the rack of an air fryer lightly with oil. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Once air fryer is preheated, arrange wings in a single layer on the rack so they aren't touching. Place wings in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes. Flip the wings over and continue cooking until an instant read thermometer reads at least 165°F, about 6-10 minutes longer.
  • While the chicken is cooking, melt the butter. In a large bowl, stir together melted butter, garlic, parsley, half of the Parmesan, and pepper.
  • Place the cooked wings on top of the mixture, sprinkle with salt, and toss it all together. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan over the top of the wings and serve.

These Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings are so yummy and easy to make. They are full of flavor and only take a few minutes to come together.

2 pounds chicken wings (or drumsticks)
¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons fresh parsley (chopped)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees for 3-4 minutes
  • Pat chicken pieces dry with a paper towel.
  • Mix Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  • Toss chicken pieces in cheese mixture until coated.
  • Place chicken in bottom of air fryer basket and set timer to 10-12 minutes.
  • After 12 minutes, use tongs to flip chicken.
  • Fry again for 12 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from basket with tongs and sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. We like ranch, and buffalo.

  • In a large bowl, blend together the salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, Parmesan cheese and melted butter. Toss the wings in the sauce to get an even coating all over each wing. Toss several times to coat.
  • Place the chicken wings inside your Air Fryer basket. Don't overcrowd the wings too much. I do about 1lb at a time. In my opinion it's best to do in batches so the air can circulate around the wings as much as possible. Just makes for a better crisp. Some people just put them all in there, but I have had better results in two batches.
