GEORGIA PEACH CRISP
There's nothing quite like fresh peaches and this crisp is a perfect way to show them off!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil (to catch anything that might bubble over).
- In a 12-inch ovenproof skillet set over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter. Add the peaches and ¼ cup of the brown sugar. Cook, stirring, until the juices thicken into a light syrup, about 8 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine the remaining 4 tablespoons of butter, the remaining ½ cup brown sugar, flour, pecans and salt. Spread the mixture evenly over the peaches. Place the skillet on the lined baking sheet.
- Bake until golden brown and bubbly, about 30 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.

- Preheat oven to 350° and butter an 8" or 9" square baking dish. Spray pan with a pan release such as Bakers Joy or Pam for Baking.
- In a medium bowl, soften butter in the microwave. Butter should be very soft, can be somewhat melted.
- To the butter add brown sugar, flour oats, pecans, cinnamon, and salt. Mix together with a spoon (or your hands) until well combined. Mixture will be crumbly.
- Set aside while you make the filling.

- Servings: 6 Prepare fruit. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 2- to 3-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
- In a large bowl, toss peaches and apples with apricot nectar, orange juice, vanilla, sugar, flour, nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon.
- Spoon into prepared baking dish.
- Set aside.
- Make a topping by combining pecans, oatmeal, flour and brown sugar.
- Slowly drizzle in butter, tossing mixture with a fork to make a mealy topping.
- Sprinkle mixture over fruit.
- Bake until juices of fruit start to bubble, around 30-40 minutes.
- Cool for about 15 minutes before serving.

I've been experimenting with cobbler for some time and this recipe is the final result. Loved by all. Use fresh Georgia peaches, of course!

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine peaches, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss to coat evenly, and pour into a 2 quart baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine flour, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Blend in butter with your fingertips, or a pastry blender, until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in water until just combined.
- Remove peaches from oven, and drop spoonfuls of topping over them. Sprinkle entire cobbler with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake until topping is golden, about 30 minutes.

- 1. PREHEAT oven to 350 F. Lightly spray an 8 inch square baking dish with butter-flavored cooking spray. Set aside.
- 2. PLACE all filling ingredients into a large bowl. Toss fruit gently. Transfer to prepared baking pan. In another bowl, place all topping ingredients except margarine. Stir to mix. With fingertips, squeeze margarine with flour mixture to form small, moist crumbs. Sprinkle topping evenly over fruit.
- 3. BAKE crisp until fruit is tender and topping is golden brown, about 45-55 minutes.
- 4. SERVE warm or at room temperature. Feel free to top with ice cream or whipped cream. Enjoy!!!
