These are SO easy and really good. The hot sauce gives it an extra kick and cuts the sweetness. They can help with patience while the rest of the grilled feast comes together, but be warned, they go quickly!

1 fresh pineapple - peeled, cored and cut into 1 inch rings
¼ teaspoon honey
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 dash hot pepper sauce
salt to taste

Steps:

  • Place pineapple in a large resealable plastic bag. Add honey, butter, hot pepper sauce, and salt. Seal bag, and shake to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or preferably overnight.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate.
  • Grill pineapple for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until heated through and grill marks appear.

1 fresh pineapple
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons lime juice
LIME DIP:
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon grated lime zest

Steps:

  • Peel and core the pineapple; cut vertically into 8 wedges. Cut each wedge horizontally into 2 spears. In a bowl or shallow dish, combine the brown sugar, honey and lime juice; add pineapple and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour., In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in the yogurt, honey, brown sugar, lime juice and zest. Cover and refrigerate until serving. , Coat grill rack with cooking spray before starting the grill. Drain pineapple, discarding marinade. Grill pineapple spears, covered, over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side or until grill marks are golden brown. Serve with lime dip.

The best grilled pineapple recipe! Pineapple spears are marinated in a maple butter cinnamon sauce, then grilled on the BBQ to a sweet, smoky perfection!

1 large pineapple
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
pinch cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • Prepare your fresh pineapple in spears or circles.
  • Mix together your marinade ingredients.
  • Place the pineapple and the marinade into a large sealing plastic freezer bag. Marinate for 1-2 hours before making. ( you don't have to refrigerate, just leave it on the counter like you leave butter on the counter.)
  • PReheat your BBQ or grill to 350°F
  • Place the pineapple onto the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, grilling until there are nice blackened grill marks on each side and the pineapple is soft.
  • Remove and place on a plate. Serve warm.

1/4 cup LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp. honey
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. minced fresh ginger
1/4 tsp. chopped fresh cilantro
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (1 inch)
3/4 cup each cantaloupe and honeydew melon chunks (1 inch)

Steps:

  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Mix all ingredients except fruit chunks until blended.
  • Combine fruit in medium bowl. Reserve 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce mixture. Pour remaining Worcestershire sauce mixture over fruit; mix lightly. Thread fruit chunks alternately onto 6 skewers.
  • Grill 10 to 12 min. or until fruit is tender and lightly browned, turning and brushing occasionally with reserved Worcestershire sauce mixture.
