Grilled Hoisin Marinated Pork with Pineapple-Grilled Green Onion Relish image

1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 (2 pound) boneless pork tenderloin
Salt and freshly frond pepper

Steps:

  • Combine hoisin, vinegar, soy, garlic and sesame oil in a small bowl. Place the tenderloin in a medium shallow baking dish, pour over the marinade and marinate in the refrigerator 3 to 4 hours or overnight, turning once. Preheat the grill. Remove the pork from the marinade, removing any excess. Season with salt and pepper and grill 10 to 12 minutes for medium doneness.

1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon ginger, grated fresh peeled
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 1/4 lbs pork tenderloin
1/2 medium pineapple, untrimmed
2 tablespoons brown sugar

Steps:

  • Prepare outdoor grill for covered direct grilling over medium heat. In small bowl, combine hoisin, honey, ginger, and oil.
  • Place pork on hot grill rack. Cover grill and cook pork 18 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • With serrated knife, cut pineapple half into 4 wedges. Rub cut sides of pineapple with brown sugar.
  • Grill pineapple 10 minutes or until browned on both sides, turning over once. While pineapple is grilling, brush pork with hoisin-honey glaze and turn frequently until temperature on instant-read thermometer reaches 155 degrees F. Transfer pork to cutting board; let stand 10 minutes. Transfer pineapple to platter.
  • Thinly slice pork and serve with pineapple wedges.

4 slices fresh pineapple, 1/2 inch thick
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 teaspoons fresh ginger, peeled and grated
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 1/2 lbs pork tenderloin, trimmed
coarse salt
pepper

Steps:

  • Heat broiler. Place pineapple on foil lined baking sheet.
  • In small bowl, combine hoisin, ginger, garlic, and mustard. Place pork on a broiler pan fitted with a rack. Brush with hoisin mixture; season with salt and pepper.
  • Place pork in broiler about 4 inches from heat. Place pineapple in oven on rack under rack pork is on. Broil pork until is registers 155 degrees, 15 to 20 minute Remove from broiler (let rest at least 10 min before slicing; temp will rise to 160). Turn pineapple slices; cook til browned in spots, about 10 min more.
  • Halve pineapple slices; arrange on platter with sliced pork. Drizzle with pan juices; season with salt and pepper. Serve with Quick Ginger Sauce.
  • Quick Ginger Sauce:In small bowl, stir together 2 T each hoisin and pineapple juice, 2 t grated fresh ginger, and 1 t soy sauce. Season with pepper.

1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon chile, minced
2 tablespoons sliced green onions
1 teaspoon fresh ginger
pepper, to taste
1 small firm fresh pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into 1-inch cubes

Steps:

  • Combine hoisin sauce, ketchup, chili,green onion, and ginger; set aside.

3 pork tenderloins (about 3/4 pound each), cut in half crosswise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 jar (12 ounces) pineapple preserves
1/2 cup frozen pineapple juice concentrate, thawed
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon cold water

Steps:

  • Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper; place in a 3- to 4-qt. slow cooker. Whisk together the next 5 ingredients; pour over pork. Cook, covered, on low until a thermometer reads 145° and meat is tender, 2-3 hours., Remove from heat; let stand at least 5 minutes before slicing. Keep warm. Whisk together cornstarch and water; add to cooking juices. Cook until thickened, about 15 minutes. Serve with pork.
