No-Bake Holly Cookies image

Keep the holidays sweet and simple with a batch of No-Bake Holly Cookies. With corn flakes, marshmallows, a hint of green and a few red candies, these No-Bake Holly Cookies are the cutest and easiest festive cookies you'll ever eat.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1/3 cup butter or margarine
30 JET-PUFFED Marshmallows
1-1/2 tsp. green food coloring
3 cups corn flakes
2 Tbsp. small hot cinnamon candies

Steps:

  • Melt butter in large saucepan on low heat. Add marshmallows; cook and stir 3 to 4 min. or until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in food coloring.
  • Add cereal; stir to evenly coat. Drop by tablespoonfuls into 30 mounds on waxed paper-covered baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Press candies into cereal mixture, flattening each mound slightly.
  • Let stand 30 min. or until firm.

5 tablespoons margarine
20 large marshmallows
2 cups corn flakes
1/2 teaspoon green food coloring
red cinnamon candies
wax paper

Steps:

  • In a double boiler, melt margarine.
  • Add marshmallows a few at a time.
  • Stir until marshmallows are completely melted.
  • Add green food coloring and remove from heat.
  • Stir in corn flakes gently.
  • Drop by spoonful on waxed paper.
  • Put 3 red hots on each spoonful to resemble holly berries.

1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ teaspoons green food coloring

Steps:

  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt together the marshmallows, butter, vanilla, and food coloring. Mix in the cornflakes cereal.
  • Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper, and decorate with red hots. Set aside, and allow to cool.

Green food coloring
3 cups cornflakes
Red M&M's minis (about 2 tablespoons)

Steps:

  • Place marshmallows and butter in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave, uncovered, on high until butter is melted and marshmallows are puffed, about 45 seconds. Tint with green food coloring. Stir in cornflakes. , On a waxed paper-lined baking sheet, divide mixture into 8 portions. With buttered hands, working quickly, shape each portion into a 3-in. wreath. Decorate immediately with M&M's, pressing to adhere. Let stand until set.

1 package (17.3 ounces) frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 large egg
1 tablespoon water
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
1/2 cup prepared pesto
24 pimiento pieces

Steps:

  • Unfold pastry sheets onto a lightly floured surface. From each sheet, cut out 12 leaves with a floured 3-1/2-in. leaf-shaped cookie cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheets. With a toothpick, score veins in leaves. In a small bowl, beat egg and water; brush over pastry. , Bake at 400° for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. , In a large bowl, combine the cheeses, parsley and pesto. Cut each pastry leaf in half. Spread 1 tablespoon cheese mixture over bottom half; replace top. Add a pimiento piece on each for a holly berry. Refrigerate leftovers.
