PASTA RONI PARMESAN COPYCAT RECIPE
My Pasta Roni Parmesan copycat recipe has more garlic than the original but it suits my family and hopefully it will suit yours too.

Steps:
- In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted.
- Add the garlic and stir for about 1 minute, don't let garlic burn or it will get bitter.
- Pour in the chicken stock, turn heat up to high until liquid comes to a boil.
- Turn the heat back to medium, add the uncooked pasta and cook for 4-5 minutes until al dente.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Stir in the half and half then let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

- Place a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add the water, milk, chicken bouillon cubes, butter, pasta, garlic powder, parsley, and pepper. Bring to a boil then turn the heat down to a simmer. Cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender. Remove the pan from the heat and place a cover on it. Let it sit for 5 minutes for the sauce to thicken a bit more. Stir before serving. Variations: add 1 cup chopped cooked chicken, turkey, drained tuna or other meat. Make it into stroganoff by adding browned and drained ground beef and using beef bouillon cubes instead of chicken and stirring in 1/4 cup sour cream before serving.

Steps:
- Cook Pasta Roni according to directions on box.
- Place cooked Pasta Roni in a 8x8 baking dish.
- Mix half the jar of Ragu with pasta.
- Place 4 chicken patties on top of pasta.
- Pour ret of Ragu on chicken patties.
- Sprinkle the parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake according to directions on frozen chicken patty box.

Steps:
- 1. Break vermicelli into small pieces. Melt butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Stir in rice and vermicelli; cook, stirring frequently, until vermicelli is lightly browned.
- 2. Add chicken broth and spices, except for parsley. Bring to a boil. Lower heat to a simmer and cover pan. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until rice is just a bit soupy.
- 3. Remove from heat, cover and let sit for about 5 minutes. If it gets too dry, just add some water or more broth. Stir in parsley and serve.
- 4. Enjoy!

- Preheat oil over medium-high heat in a large non-stick or seasoned cast iron saute pan. Quickly brown diced chicken, and then remove from the pan. It is okay, preferable actually, if the chicken is still partly pink in the middle at this point.
- Melt butter in the saute pan over medium heat. Add rice and pasta, and cook stirring frequently until the pasta is browned. Add the mushrooms during the last 3-4 minutes of the rice/pasta cook time, and cook those along with the rice/pasta. Add the onion and garlic powder, the parsley, salt, water, bouillon, and wine.
- Add the chicken back into the pan, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add broccoli during last 5 minutes of cooking.
