- Empty the bottle of whiskey into a large container with a lid. Add the cinnamon sticks and simple syrup and seal.
- Shake the container and let stand for five days, shaking daily.
- After five days, add the dried chile peppers to the container, if desired, and shake again. Let stand for three to four more days, tasting after the first day to test the flavor intensity. When the flavor reaches the desired intensity, strain and rebottle.

- In a pint or quart size mason jar add the appropriate amount of whiskey and cinnamon hard candies. Add the plastic lid to the jars.
- Shake the mason jars throughout the day until the hard candies have completely melted into the whiskey. This process can take a full day.
- Once the candies are thoroughly melted, package for gifting or store in a cool dark location such as the freezer or refrigerator.

FIREBALL EGGNOG
Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- If desired, rim an old-fashioned glass with cinnamon sugar: In a small dish mix the raw sugar and ground cinnamon to a uniform color and pour a small amount of amaretto into another small dish. Dip the glass rim into the amaretto then roll it into the cinnamon sugar.
- In a cocktail shaker , pour the eggnog, cinnamon whiskey liqueur, and amaretto. Fill with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Strain into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and dusting of freshly grated nutmeg.
