This is a wonderful Christmas meat sauce. It goes well with turkey or goose.

Steps:
- Put cranberries, raspberries, Merlot, and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Use a whisk to mash the cranberries. Turn down heat and let simmer for 15 minutes. Pour sauce into a container and refrigerate. It can be served hot or cold.

- To serve, place 1 ice cube in each of 12 wine glasses. In large pitcher, combine remaining raspberry cranberry drink, wine and carbonated beverage; stir gently. Pour into glasses. Garnish with orange slices.

I love wine coolers as they aren't as strong as most wines. So I had some left over riesling wine and I decided to mix it with cranberry and raspberry juice. It is excellent in my humble opinion.
