- Combine the water with the sugars in a medium glass pitcher or bowl. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add corn syrup and stir well. Add vodka and flavorings and stir well. Store in a sealed container. I have not yet tried a non-alcoholic version of this.... I'm thinking the vodka could be replaced by additional water? and still give the same flavor in baking. If someone else tries this before I get the chance pls comment and let me know if it worked!

- In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup water and the sugar over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Stop stirring, and bring to a boil; reduce to a simmer, and cook until mixture has thickened slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in almond liqueur. Cool syrup to room temperature before using. The syrup can be refrigerated in an airtight container, up to 1 month.
