2 tablespoons soy sauce
⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into bite-size pieces

Steps:

  • Whisk honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir chicken in hot oil until lightly brown, about 5 minutes. Pour honey mixture into skillet and continue to cook and stir until chicken is no longer pink in the center and sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes more.

2 chicken leg quarters
1 teaspoon salt
black pepper ((to taste))
1 teaspoon oil
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/3 cup of honey ( (or maple syrup))
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 ½ tablespoon light brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
crush red pepper (optional)

Steps:

  • The first step is using a paper towel, pat dry the chicken
  • Season the chicken with 1 teaspoon salt and black pepper (to taste), drizzle a little bit oil, and set aside. Preheat the oven to 350°F (176.6°C).
  • Next, place the cast iron on the stovetop over medium-high heat let it get really hot for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Place the chicken pieces on the cast iron and sear it on both sides. This will ensure a very crispy and juicy chicken.
  • Then, transfer the cast iron into the oven. Let the chicken cook for about 20 minutes.

2 pounds frozen popcorn chicken
1 Tablespoon butter, (salted or unsalted)
2 Tablespoons minced garlic
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
4 Tablespoons water
1/3 cup sliced green onion, (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Cook popcorn chicken according to package directions.
  • Prepare the glaze while chicken is cooking. Over medium heat sauté the garlic in butter for about a minute in a large skillet. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, and red chili pepper flakes, ginger powder and water.
  • Bring to a boil, whisking regularly. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 5 minutes until glaze thickens slightly. Toss cooked popcorn chicken in glaze. This is easiest to do right in the skillet.
  • Serve glazed chicken over rice (optional) and garnish with sliced green onion.

1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 large bone-in skin-on chicken thighs

Steps:

  • Mix together the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, thyme, pepper and garlic in a bowl. Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade to use for basting later. Marinate the chicken with the remaining liquid in a resealable bag for 2 to 3 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Heat one side of a gas grill to medium heat, keeping one side cooler. Grill the chicken thighs on medium for approximately 5 minutes on each side, taking care not to let the sugars burn. Move the thighs to the cool side of the grill and baste with the reserved marinade. Cover the grill and cook, basting every 3 to 4 minutes, until the thighs are cooked completely through, about 10 minutes more.

2 teaspoons garlic powder
salt and ground black pepper to taste
6 cloves garlic, crushed
⅓ cup honey
¼ cup water
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

  • Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden, 10 to 12 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the centers should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Drain most of the excess grease from the pan, leaving about 2 tablespoons behind.

6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon brown sugar
¼ cup honey
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 lb green beans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C)
  • Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  • Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, skin-side down, and sear both sides until golden brown. (The skin side will take much longer, in order to properly render the fat and crisp up the skin.)
  • Remove chicken thighs and set aside. Pour out any excess fat, but leave some in for the sauce.
  • Add garlic, stir until fragrant, then add brown sugar, honey, thyme, and oregano, and stir. Reduce heat to low.
  • Return chicken to the skillet. Coat the chicken in the sauce.
  • Add green beans to skillet.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup ketchup

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Mix oil, garlic, and honey in a small bowl. Stir in soy sauce, pineapple juice, and vinegar. Spray or grease bottom of baking dish. Place chicken in the dish and brush with the honey mixture. Baste every 5 minutes or so, until cooked through.
