HONEY-GLAZED PORK CHOPS
I tried this honey-glazed pork chop recipe and my family loved it. It was a nice change from fried and regular baked chops. It's a new family favorite.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Coat a skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Add chops to the hot skillet and cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
- While the chops are browning, combine brown sugar and honey in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high until brown sugar has softened or melted, about 20 seconds. Stir to combine.
- Transfer browned chops to the prepared baking dish and spoon 1/2 of the honey glaze evenly over top.
- Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, turn over, and spread the remaining honey glaze over top. Bake until no longer pink in the center, 15 to 20 minutes more. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

HONEY PORK CHOPS AND APPLES
A great meal for a cooler night. Make sure your chops are thicker, at least 3/4-inch. Prep time depends on the thickness of your chops.

Steps:
- Core and slice apples into 1/2-inch rings.
- Add margarine to skillet and saute apple rings until crisp-tender.
- Remove apple rings from skillet and brown chops slowly in skillet.
- Remove chops to shallow baking dish and season with salt, pepper and sage. Place 1 apple ring on each chop.
- Cover and bake at 300° F for 30 minutes.
- Drizzle honey over apples and chops; baste with drippings.
- Cover and bake 15 minute longer or until pork is fully cooked. Place cherry in center of apple rings before serving, if desired.

HONEY-APPLE PORK CHOPS
I was browsing through some of the recipes in my recipe box and found this one. I haven't made this in ages and if I remember correctly, these are very good. Marinating time is not included in the times.

Steps:
- Place chops in a shallow dish.
- Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour marinade over chops.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.
- Remove chops from marinade.
- Place on grill, approximately six inches from medium-hot coals.
- Grill for 10-15 minutes, turning once and basting with remaining marinade.
- Discard remaining marinade when meat is grilled.

PEPPER PORK CHOPS WITH HONEY-APPLE-GINGER SLAW
Peppery pork chops are topped with a crunchy apple slaw flavored with ginger and honey.

- Put the garlic, sugar, soy sauce and 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper in a large self-sealing plastic bag, seal and shake. Add the pork chops and rub them, through the bag, to work the spices into the meat. Marinate at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- Julienne the apple, leaving the skin on. Toss the apples with the cabbage, lime zest, lime juice and ginger in a medium bowl. Drizzle in the honey and sesame oil and toss again. Season with salt and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
- Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add half the chops, shaking off the excess marinade, and cook, turning once, until just cooked through, about 6 minutes. Repeat with the remaining oil and chops, wiping the skillet clean between batches. Serve with the slaw.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown pork chops 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
- Whisk honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and butter together in a bowl and pour over the pork chops in the baking dish.

- In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Pour 1 cup marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; add pork chops. Seal bag turn to coat; refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Set aside 1/2 cup of the remaining marinade for basting and 3/4 cup for serving; cover and refrigerate., Drain and discard marinade. Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Grill pork, uncovered, over medium heat or broil 4-5 in. over heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 145°, basting occasionally with 1/2 cup marinade. Let meat stand for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with reserved marinade.
