- Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray. Layer hot dog pieces and onion in pie plate.
- In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk and eggs with wire whisk or fork until blended. Pour into pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serve with ketchup and mustard.

- In a large saucepan, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the hot dogs, beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard and cheese cubes. Cook and stir until cheese is melted., Meanwhile, prick pastry shell with a fork. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Fill with hot beef mixture. Cut each cheese slice into four strips; make a lattice topping over pie. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

HOUND DOG PUDDING PIE
I threw this dessert together one afternoon when I needed a dessert in a huge hurry. I had no time to cook, and it was a requirement that I take a dessert to a social event that I was attending. I have made it many times since then for my own family, and it has been a big hit each time. I hope you enjoy the dessert AND its ease of preparation. We named this Hound Dog Pudding Pie because our Basset Hound puppy, Elvis Aaron Pupsley, "stole" the pie pan and carried it away as soon as my daughter sat down with her pie the first time I made it at home. Elvis was really proud of his "trophy" and looked so cute that we laughed and laughed. There was no way we could be mad at him. This is a super easy dessert, takes very little time, and you can tailor it to suit your tastes. The possibilities are endless because the varieties of pudding mix and candy chips is quite varied.

- Melt 1/2 cup of candy chips in microwave until a spreadable consistency. This usually takes only 30 seconds or less (depends on wattage of microwave). Add a couple of drops of water to melted chocolate if you want to thin it out a bit. Coat the inside of each pie shell with the chocolate.
- Prepare pudding as per package directions. Spoon pudding into individual pie shells and place in refrigerator. I usually put the pie shells into a cake pan and cover either with plastic wrap or with a plastic cover made to fit the cake pan. This makes it easy to transport if necessary, and it serves to protect the pudding from refrigerator odors.
- Before serving, shave the chocolate bar with a vegetable peeler or grater and reserve for the last step. Top each pie with desired amount of whipped cream and garnish with the shaved chocolate.
