IRRATIONAL EXUBERANCE image

Yield 1 drink

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 ounce Dry gin (Junipero or Citadelle are favorite, juniper-forward choices)
1 ounce Cointreau
1/2 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice
2 dashes homemade grenadine
1 to 2 ounces chilled Brut champagne

Steps:

  • Combine gin, Cointreau, lemon and orange juices and grenadine in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake as though the good times will never end, strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and top with chilled champagne to taste. Toast to better days ahead, and forget your worries for the next ten minutes.
