These sausage balls are made with Neese's® Sausage. Perfect for breakfast and great for the holidays. I have provided the doubled recipe. You can cut it in half if you wish. I usually bag half the recipe and put into fridge and freeze the other half. Great in toaster oven.

6 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick ®)
2 pounds shredded extra-sharp Cheddar cheese
1 pound sage-flavored pork sausage (such as Neese's® Extra Sage Sausage), at room temperature
1 pound hot pork sausage (such as Neese's® Hot Sausage), at room temperature

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
  • Mix baking mix, Cheddar cheese, sage-flavored pork sausage, and hot pork sausage together in a bowl. Roll mixture into golf ball-sized balls; arrange balls on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until meatballs are no longer pink in the middle and browned on the outside, 25 to 30 minutes.

2 (16 ounce) packages Regular Flavor Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
1 ½ cups all-purpose baking mix
4 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
½ cup finely chopped onion
½ cup finely chopped celery
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons minced garlic

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 F. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl; stir well. Form into 1inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet; bake 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven; cool 5 minutes before removing from pan. Serve with cocktail forks or toothpicks.

2 cups bisquick baking mix
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 (16 oz) block sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with a silicone baking mat.
  • Place a wire oven safe cooling rack on top, then spray generously with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Place sausage, bisquick, sugar, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire into a large bowl.
  • Mix until well combined, then incorporate the cheese.
  • Use a small cookie scoop to scoop the mixture into 32 bites.
  • Use your hands to roll them into balls then place onto the prepared cooling rack.

  • Combine all ingredients in a stand mixer then mix at low speed using the paddle attachment (or mix by hand) until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on a baking sheet one inch apart. I used my handy-dandy cookie scoop to make quick work out of portioning these.
