Keke De Vainilla (Peruvian Vanilla Cake) image

Delicious and simple. Tradition is to eat it with manjarblanco or also called dulce de leche in other countries.

2 cups sugar
5 cups flour
5 eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups milk
1 pinch baking powder
1 tablespoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Mix well and beat with eggbeater until smooth.
  • Pour mix into a greased mold.
  • Bake at 250 degrees for about 25 minutes.

Easy Vanilla Cake image

This vanilla cake is like, the best cake I have ever made. It's not too bland, and it's not too sweet. This is great for all occasions and easy to do in your spare time.

cooking spray
2 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour, or more as needed
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 pinches salt
3 eggs
¾ cup milk
¾ cup vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch cake tin with cooking spray and line with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt together in a bowl. Add eggs, milk, and vegetable oil. Mix by hand or use an electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Add more flour if batter is too runny. Pour into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, about 1 hour.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool, 15 to 30 minutes. Transfer to the refrigerator to chill slightly, 15 to 30 minutes more. Slice the cooled cake through the middle to make 2 layers.

  • Primero debemos calentar el horno a 180° por 15 minutos. Ahora ahora batimos con la ayuda de una batidora 250 gr de margarina y 400 gr de azúcar blanca a velocidad media de 8 a 10 minutos limpiando siempre el bol para que todo se mezcle bien. Mientras se va batiendo los ingredientes previamente mencionados colocamos en el bol los 5 huevos en intervalos de 1 minuto.
  • Colocamos ahora 560 gr de harina sin preparar en un tazón y lo mezclamos con 15 gr de polvo de hornear para luego agregarlos al bol disminuyendo la velocidad de la batidora y con la ayuda de una cuchara intercalando con 250 ml de leche hasta terminar de agregar los ingredientes. Ahora agregamos 1 cucharada de esencia de vainilla y volvemos a poner la batidora a velocidad maxima por 20 segundos. Para hornear este keke usa un molde nro 28 previamente mantequillado y con un papel molde en la base para que sea mas fácil sacar el keke.
  • Ahora colocamos toda la masa en el molde quitandole el exceso de masa con una cuchara y lo llevamos al horno por 1 hora siempre viendo si ya esta listo antes del tiempo ya que los hornos no son iguales y ¡LISTO!
