Ingredients

2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon ground dried lemon peel
1 tablespoon dry English-style mustard
2 teaspoons ground allspice
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

Steps:

Blend all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.
Allow 2 tsp for a 4# roast; or 1/4 tsp for a 1# cutlet.
Add 1 tsp to a large pot of beef soup, or 1/4 tsp to 1 cup of meat or vegetable gravy.

Sloppy Joe Mix. Ingredients: 3/4 cup brown sugar. 4 Tbsp minced onion. 4 Tbsp paprika. 4 tsp ground cumin. 4 tsp garlic powder. 4 tsp salt. 4 tsp pepper. To Use: To make Sloppy Joes, start by browning 1 lb.
