GRANDMA'S MEAT AND TATER HOTDISH
Very good hotdish recipe from my late grandmother that can also be eaten as a meal with a salad.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain grease. Add onion and cook until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine condensed soup, sour cream, and green bean liquid in a small bowl. Set sauce aside.
- Add green beans to the cooked beef and onions; mix to combine and transfer to a casserole dish. Top with sliced cheese and cover with frozen potato nuggets. Pour sauce over top.
- Bake in the preheated oven potatoes are browned and sauce is bubbly, about 1 hour.

Easy dish that will make everyone ask for seconds, maybe thirds! You can customize the spiciness to suit your family.

Steps:
- Brown the hamburger meat and the sausage together in a skillet. Drain the canned veggies and mix all together in a casserole dish with the cheese sauce. After the meat is browned and the grease is drained stir it in with the mixture. Top with the tater tots then sprinkle the cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven at 375°F till the tops of the tots are browned the way you like. Let sit for 10 minutes before you dig inches Enjoy!
- (Alterations: you can also mix in french fried onions with the tater tot layer before cooking).

LAURA'S SOUTHWEST TATER TOT HOTDISH
I developed this recipe because the usual tater tot hotdish didn't have enough pizazz. After a couple of tries I think I've found the perfect combination of ingredients that's pleasing for many different people.

Steps:
- Line a 8 x 8 pan with frozen tater tots and let them thaw completely for several hours.
- Cook the ground turkey in a separate pan and drain off fat.
- Add soup and fajita seasoning to the cooked turkey. Mix well & set aside.
- Pour the green enchilada sauce over the thawed tots.
- Pour black beans on top (as well as liquid in the can) and spread evenly.
- Add half of the shredded cheese on top of beans.
- Add turkey mixture. Top with the remaining cheese.
- Cover with tinfoil and bake in preheated oven of 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Note: If you like a little crunch in your hotdish I break up some tortilla chips and mix in the finished product.

SOUTHWESTERN VEGGIE-PACKED TATER TOT CASSEROLE RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Cut the head of cauliflower in half, remove the stem, and chop into small pieces. Set aside.
- Heat the oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add the corn, carrots, black beans, and 2 cups (600 g) of cauliflower and cook, stirring often, for another 3 minutes, until the corn starts to brown around the edges.
- Add the flour, chili powder, and salt and stir until the vegetables are evenly coated.
- Add the milk and diced tomatoes and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 3 minutes.
- Add the mozzarella cheese and stir until melted.
- Turn off the heat and arrange the tater tots on top of the vegetable mixture.
- Transfer to the oven and bake until browned and bubbling, about 30 minutes.
- Garnish the casserole with tomato, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro, if using.
- Enjoy!

- In a large skillet with high sides, add the olive oil, preheat it over medium high heat (right between medium and medium high) add the beef, onion garlic, salt and pepper and saute until the onion has softened and the beef is cooked (if your beef renders a lot of fat, discard most of it) then stir in the flour, keep stirring until well incorporated, then add the beef stock, Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning, bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium low and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the corn and cream cheese until the cream cheese melts, then pour mixture in your prepared pan, sprinkle with the cheese, top with the tots followed by your dried chives, bake for 45 minutes then allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving.
