Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces lavender syrup, recipe follows
4 ounces dry sparkling wine, such as a cava or Prosecco
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon dried lavender buds

Steps:

Pour the syrup into a champagne glass. Add the sparkling wine. Serve.
Place the water, sugar, and lavender in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, partially covered, for 15 minutes. Strain and cool. Cover and refrigerate for up to a week.

A pleasantly refreshing, calming & restorative drink with an exquisite flavour. It's ideal on a hot summer's day, and is delicious when mixed with sparkling water or, even champagne/sparkling wine! Make sure the lavender has not been sprayed with insecticides and rinse gently under cold running water (to dislodge any insects) before use. Alternatively you can buy culinary lavender from herbalists or specialist shops.

110 g golden granulated sugar
50 lavender flowers
300 ml water

Steps:

Put the water and sugar into a pan and heat gently until the sugar has dissolved completely.
Add the lavender flowers and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat; cover the pan and leave to infuse for 30-45 minutes.
Strain the liquid into a pan and reheat, stirring all the time, until the mixture is syrupy. Cool completely. Pour into a sterilised bottle, seal tightly and leave to cool.
Store in the refrigerator.
Dilute with chilled sparkling mineral water to serve - or champagne/sparkling wine for a special occasion.

Lavender and vanilla flavored wine. So smooth, sweet and delish. Great on a spring day! This is a recipe I made from my Recipe #302519. For those that can't get sweet woodruff. It is equally flavorful. Great for bridal showers. It is easy to make Recipe #101039. Use any berries that are available. Cava or champagne is delish in this. Ingredients

1 cup superfine sugar (or an extra special treat Lavender Sugar With Vanilla would be really lovely or check below)
2 -750 ml dry white wine
750 ml champagne (Cava works just as good)
16 fresh strawberries

Steps:

In a large punch bowl, lavender sugar, and 1 bottle of wine. Cover, and steep for 30 minutes.
Remove the cover, stir the mixture, strain to remove pieces of lavender and vanilla.
Pour the wine over ice in a punch bowl.
Add the Cava, and strawberries, stir, and serve over ice.
Easy Lavender sugar:.
4Place 1/2 teaspoon dried lavender flowers and 1 cup sugar in a blender and blend till combined and buds are fine.
