Low Calorie Martini image

I came up with this recipe because I love martinis, but don't always want all the sugar that comes in the mixers. The beauty of this one is the infinite possibilities. Just mix and match the combination of flavored powder and flavored vodka. If you like gin better, use that! Enjoy! You may need to experiment with the proportion of powder to liquid to get the flavor you like.

1 (1/4 ounce) packet of crystal light on the go powdered drink mix (or low cal drink mix of your choice)
6 ounces vodka (flavored if desired)
5 -6 ice cubes

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients in a martini shaker. Shake. Shake a little more. Then shake it. Pour into chilled martini glasses. If you want to get fancy then garnish with some fruit that compliments your flavors of powder and vodka.

This is sooo delish! And on top of that, it's guilt-free! It's only 109 calories and no fat! This is so incredibly like the ice cream/sherbet bars of long ago! Well, let this rock you into the past, with flavor and memory! Soooo Goood!

4 ounces diet orange soda, at room temperature
1 1/2 ounces orange-infused vodka (like Smirnoff Twist of Orange)
1 1/2 ounces torani sugar-free vanilla syrup
1 tablespoon Cool Whip Free

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a martini shaker, but DO NOT shake(or the carbonated soda will explode!). Mix thorougly with a spoon until mixture is mostly lump-free. Add about 1 cup ice (crushed, if you have it), and stir until mixture is cold. Then place the strainer on top and pour into a large martini glass. Enjoy!
  • Note:please don't drink and drive.

1 tablespoon (1/2 oz) elderflower liqueur or clear orange liqueur
3 tablespoons fresh-squeezed clementine juice, fresh-squeezed pink grapefruit juice or pomegranate juice
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons club soda
Clementine slice, pink grapefruit peel twist or fresh lime slice for garnish

Steps:

  • In cocktail shaker filled with ice, add gin, liqueur and juices. Cover; shake until well mixed.
  • Strain into martini glass; top off with club soda.
  • Garnish as desired.
