MAYFLOWER MARTINI

Steps:

• Pour 1 teaspoon of sweet vermouth into each martini glass; swirl glass to coat and pour out excess. Set aside.
• Fill a martini shaker with ice cubes. Pour 1 part gin and 2 parts white cranberry juice. Shake vigorously. Pour into martini glasses.
• Serve chilled with a garnish of whole cranberries on a toothpick.

APPLE MARTINI

Steps:

• In a medium pitcher, combine ice, vodka, sour apple mix, and vermouth. Stir thoroughly. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with apple slice. Serve immediately.

MARTINI

Steps:

• Take a chilled martini glass and add a dash of vermouth. Swirl vermouth around and pour it out. In a separate mixing glass full of ice, put gin. Stir it with a bar spoon and strain into the chilled martini glass and garnish with a fresh olive.

CRANBERRY MARTINIS

Steps:

• Several days ahead, place the sugar, cranberries, 6 strips of orange zest, and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes, until the cranberries start to pop open. Pour the vodka into a large pitcher, add the cranberry mixture, and store covered in the refrigerator for at least 2 days and up to 5 days.
• When ready to serve, strain the vodka mixture, reserving the cranberries and discarding the orange zest. Stir in the cranberry juice cocktail and Triple Sec. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the drink mixture, shake for a full 30 seconds (it's longer than you think!), and strain into martini glasses. Rub the rim of each glass with fresh orange zest, spoon a few cranberries into each glass, and serve ice cold.

LEMON MERINGUE MARTINI

Steps:

• In a plastic food storage bag, crush the meringues with a rolling pin or your hands. Put the crumbs onto a plate and pour some water onto another plate. Put a shot of the limoncello in a small plate. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the limoncello, shaking off any excess, then into the meringue crumbs. Repeat with 3 more glasses and set aside while you make the drink.
• In a pitcher filled with ice, pour in the 4 shots of limoncello, the vodka and the lemonade and stir. Strain the drink evenly into the 4 prepared glasses and serve.

KEY LIME MARTINI

Steps:

• Add all ingredients to a martini shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Serve.

MARGARITA MARTINI

Steps:

• Combine the tequila, lime juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. (To make a batch of simple syrup, simmer equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves, then cool.) Shake well, then strain into a chilled martini glass; salt the rim, if desired. Garnish with mint.
