Mexican White Trash Recipe - (4/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1bag1 bag Nacho Doritos, crushed
2cups2 cups chicken, shredded
2cups2 cups cheese, shredded
1can1 can cream of chicken soup
1can1 can Rotel tomatoes
1/2cup1/2 cup sour cream
1/2cup1/2 cup milk
1/2package1/2 package taco seasoning (or more if you'd like)

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a 2 quart casserole dish with nonstick spray. Mix together all ingredients except Doritos. Layer half the Doritos (about 2 cups) on the bottom, then spread half the chicken mixture, rest of the Doritos, and the rest of the chicken mixture. Add more cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. I usually double the recipe and cook it in a 9x13 pan for 45 minutes, just so we can have leftovers the next day.

2 cups shredded chicken
2 cups shredded cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can Rotel Tomatoes
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 package taco seasoning
1 bag Nacho Doritos (or more)
Non-stick cooking spray

Steps:

  • Take a casserole dish and use a non-stick spray to grease it as it is the basic chore for baking.
  • Set the oven at the temperature of 300 degrees for the proper baking of your dish.
  • Take a bowl and add cheese to it. Mix this shredded cheese with the shredded chicken. Pour the chicken cream soup into this two-ingredient mixture.
  • Add the canned Rotel tomatoes and also pour milk into them. Squeeze cream into the mixture and make the addition of the Taco squeezing.
  • In the casserole make a layer of the chicken mixture with the flour and one layer of Doritos over the chicken layer. Make another layer of chicken followed by another layer of Doritos.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese at the top of all these layers.
  • Take a foil sheet and cover the top of the ish and bake for more than half an hour.
  • And in between 30-35 minutes, your Mexican trash will be ready which you can serve to your siblings who will be happiest after having it.
