2 tsp tajin
¼ cup lime juice ((start with 2 tbsp add as needed))
½-¾ cup clamato juice
4 drops hot sauce
4 drops worcestershire sauce
1 (12 ounce) Mexican beer

Steps:

  • In a bowl or on a small plate combine the salt and tajin. Rub a lime wedge along the rim of the glass. Dip the rim of the glass into the tajin mixture.
  • Add ice to the glass.
  • Pour the lime juice, clamato juice, hot sauce, worcesterhire, and beer. Stir to combine. Taste and adjust as needed.

2 fl oz (from 2 limes), half a juiced lime reserved for the rim fresh lime juice
2 tsp preferably a Mexican-style brand like Tapatío hot sauce
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
12 fl oz (1 bottle) such as Modelo, Pacífico, Tecate, Victoria, or Corona, well chilled light Mexican beer

Steps:

  • Pour Tajín or salt into a small, shallow dish in an even layer. Rub a pint or pilsner glass's rim with the cut side of the reserved juiced lime half, then dip the glass into the dish to create a salt rim.
  • Set glass right side up and fill with lime juice, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Add salt, fill glass with ice, and top with beer. Stir gently.
  • Serve with remaining beer, topping up while drinking.

1 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce hot sauce
1/4 ounce Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Tajín Clásico
1 bottle (12 ounces) pale lager, such as Corona Extra, chilled

Steps:

  • Place about 1/4 cup salt on a small plate. Rub the rim of a Collins or pint glass (or a 16-ounce Solo cup-no need to get fancy) with one of the lime wedges to moisten it, then dip the rim in the salt to coat.
  • Combine the tomato juice, lime juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Tajín, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl and mix.
  • Fill the prepared glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes and add the tomato juice mixture. Top with beer and garnish with the remaining lime wedge.
