MILK DUD CAKE MIX BARS
Milk Dud Cake Mix Bars are just another yummy bar recipe that is a MUST MAKE! Incredibly simple & easy desserts don't get any more delicious than this.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 glass baking pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Mix the cake mix, evaporated milk and melted butter in a mixer - beating well.
- Add 1 cup of the milk duds and 1 cup of the chocolate chips - beat well.
- Transfer ¾ of the batter to the prepared pan and spread out flat in the bottom as best you can. It's very sticky. You can wet your hands to make it stick a bit less or use a rubber spatula coated in cooking spray.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then remove.
- Top with remaining milk duds & chocolate chips.
- Drop the remaining batter on the top in spoonfuls- do not spread out - leave it chunky.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 40-45 minutes.
- Check with the toothpick test- it should be mostly clean.
- Remove and allow to cool completely before cutting.
- Store at room temperature in an airtight container.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Combine 1 1/2 cup white sugar, shortening, peanut butter, and brown sugar in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Stir gradually into the creamed shortening mixture until dough is combined. Chill dough until firm, about 2 hours.
- Pour remaining white sugar into a shallow bowl.
- Scoop up a portion of dough with a tablespoon. Press a chocolate-covered caramel into the center; cover up with dough and roll into a ball. Roll dough balls in sugar. Arrange on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven until edges are firm and lightly golden, 9 to 12 minutes. Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

They have all the flavors and textures I’m looking for in a chocolate chip cookie – soft and chewy with crisp edges, and loaded with sweet chocolate morsels and crunchy walnuts.
- Sweet Iced Tea. Movie snacks are great but don’t forget about the refreshments, either. You’ll need something to chug down all those treats, and iced tea does the job beautifully.
- Puppy Chow. Puppy chow, muddy buddies, monkey munch, doggy bag – this snack has a thousand monikers. No matter what you call it, though, one thing’s for sure: it’s one heck of an addictive treat.
- Chocolate Covered Pretzels. Pretzel crisps are great as-is, but if you can still elevate it to make it more awesome. A chocolate and peanut butter coating is the trick.
