Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup butter, oil, 4 tablespoons cocoa, and 1 cup water. Boil for 1 minute.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and white sugar. Beat in chocolate mixture. Beat in eggs, buttermilk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
- To make the Frosting: In saucepan, combine 1/2 cup butter, 6 tablespoons cream, and 4 tablespoons cocoa. Boil for 1 minute. Place confectioners' sugar in a large bowl. Pour in chocolate mixture and beat until desired consistency is achieved. Beat in vanilla.

Steps:
- Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Blend and scrape bowl; then beat at medium speed for 4 minutes.
- Pour into greased and floured 10" tube pan.
- Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or till done. Do not underbake.
- Cool in pan for 15 minutes.
- Remove from pan and finish cooling on rack.
- Frost if desired or sprinkle confectioners sugar over it.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour (I used Baker's Joy) 2 9x5 inch loaf pans.
- Combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, eggs, water, and 1 cup chocolate chips in a large bowl and beat on medium speed with an electric mixer for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour half of the batter into each of the prepared pans.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let cool in loaf pan for about 30 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool completely.
- Melt 1 cup chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Drizzle over the top of each cake.
- Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips over the top.
- Cut into pieces and serve.
