MOVIE-THEATER-STYLE POPCORN
Serve A-list snacks, and your next movie night (or game day) will win rave reviews. This recipe offers two deliciously different takes on popcorn: classic butter and a maple-cayenne kettle corn variation. You just need a medium stockpot with a lid to get popping.

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients in a medium heavy pot (preferably cast iron). Heat over high, stirring, until butter melts. Cover, reduce heat to medium-high, and cook, undisturbed, until kernels begin popping rapidly.
- Offset lid to create a 1/8-inch vent along one side of pot; continue cooking until popping begins to subside, about 2 minutes. Transfer popcorn to a large bowl; toss until cooled slightly, about 2 minutes. Serve.

- Curried Popcorn. Want something with curry in a hurry? You can pop the popcorn and stir in the ingredients after. This will give you a different texture you might enjoy.
- PB & J Popcorn. Advertising. Something for the kids again and so pretty for presentation. It might be fun to do this with different jellies. The white chocolate is a great way to get any flavor to stick.
- Tequila Popcorn. Only a dash of tequila, cayenne, and cumin with some lime juice, so don’t think this is going to soggy or so risque. It is, however, fun and the flavor and smell could be very enjoyable and complimentary to a themed party.
- Taco Popcorn. This is supposed to taste like Doritos! So I would try it out just the see, but I was missing the idea of real cheese melting all over the place.
