All you need is a box cake mix, applesauce, water and your favorite toppings to make the easiest, most delicious cake in a mug you will ever try!

6 tbsp Cake mix (any flavor)
2 tbsp Apple sauce
1 tbsp water
Your favorite mix-ins and toppings (chocolate chips, sprinkles, coconut, nuts, candy bars, etc)
Your favorite toppings (whipped cream, frosting, sprinkles, chocolate syrup)

Steps:

Spray the inside of a microwave safe mug with non-stick spray (you want to use a mug that holds at least 8 ounces). Add the cake mix, water, apple sauce and your preferred add-in and stir this until smooth.
Bake in the microwave at full power for 1 minute.
Allow cake to cool slightly before eating.

2 teaspoons melted coconut oil, canola oil or vegetable oil**
Frosting and sprinkles (optional for topping)

Steps:

Spray an 11 to 12-ounce microwave-safe mug or small bowl with cooking spray and then mix together cake mix, water and oil inside.
Microwave on high for about 1 minute and 10 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds. Remove from microwave and allow mug to cool for a few minutes. Add frosting and sprinkles, if desired and enjoy!

It does not use a cake mix to start, and does not use egg. It is prepared in the microwave. 4 Tbl of mix filled my mug about half full, it does rise a little when cooking. This amount of mix will make 11 cakes, or if your mug is big enough for a double batch it will make 5. If you just want to make one just decrease the yield to 1 cake. 1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup dry milk
1/4 cup cocoa
1 dash salt

Steps:

Combine all dry ingredients.
Mix 4 Tbl mix with 2 Tbl water in a bowl or mug. You can add chocolate chips if you prefer.
Cook in microwave for 30-40 seconds.
Your cake should look dry on top. If you aren't sure use a spoon to pull the side of the cake away from the mug and see if the bottom is wet.
Let rest for 2 minutes.
Top with chocolate syrup/sauce, whipped cream, or powdered sugar.
Serve warm.

1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 ⅔ cups confectioners' sugar
¼ cup powdered lemonade mix

Steps:

Check your coffee mugs to make sure each one holds 1 1/2 cups water.
Place dry cake mix and dry pudding mix into a large bowl and blend well with a whisk. This will be about 4 to 4 1/2 cups of dry mix and will make 8 coffee cup cake mixes. Divide mix into 8 small plastic bags (about 1/2 cup each). Place mix into a corner of each bag and tie it there with a twist tie.
Make glaze mix: in a medium bowl, combine confectioners sugar with powdered flavoring mix. Divide into 8 small plastic bags and close bag with a twist tie. Attach each glaze mix to the cake mix bags with a twist tie. Place one of each bag into each cup.
Attach the following instructions to each cup: Generously spray inside of cup with cooking spray. Empty contents of cake mix packet in cup. Add 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of oil, 1 tablespoon water to dry mix. Mix 15 seconds, carefully mixing in all dry mix. Microwave on full power for 2 minutes. While cake is cooking, place ingredients from Glaze mix into a very small container and add 1 1/2 teaspoon water. Mix well. When cake is done, pour glaze over cake in cup. Enjoy while warm.
