Steps:
- Combine the first four ingredients, bring to a boil (to soft ball stage).
- Stir constantly because the mixture burns easily.
- Remove from heat.
- Add: marshmallow cream, vanilla and powdered sugar (sifted) Blend well; pour into greased pan.
- (the recipe did not specify pan size. I would guess an 8 or 9 inch square pan would make a thick fudge and a 13x9 inch pan if you like it a little thiner).
- Add nuts if desired.
- Cool, cut into squares.
GRANDMOTHER'S PEACH FUZZ
This is a fantastic rum based drink that my grandmother made for me. It cannot be made virgin, the rum is the key ingredient! The peach skins add a lovely bit of color. Canned peaches do not work as well.

MINI FUDGE BITES
Steps:
- For the fudge: Spray a 9-by-9-inch baking dish with cooking spray and line with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two opposite sides so the fudge can be easily removed.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter and salt. Bring to just short of boiling over medium heat, until the mixture is loose and the chocolate chips are melted, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the walnuts and vanilla using a wooden spoon.
- Pour the hot mixture into the prepared baking dish and refrigerate until cool and set, about 2 hours. Then, using a 1-inch square cookie cutter, cut the fudge into cubes.
- For the cookies: Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove the cookie dough from its packaging and transfer to a lightly floured surface; roll to 1/4 inch thick. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and parbake for 10 to 11 minutes.
- Using the 1-inch square cookie cutter, cut the parbaked cookies and return to the prepared baking sheet. Bake the cookies until they are lightly golden around the edges, 5 to 6 minutes. If they have puffed up and lost their shape, use the same cookie cutter to punch out the cookies again while they are still warm, for cleaner edges. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool.
- For the assembly and decorations: In a medium bowl, combine the royal icing with gel food color and mix until completely incorporated. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a round number 2 tip. Pipe a dab of the royal icing onto the center of each cookie and adhere a cube of fudge on top. Decorate each fudge bite with more royal icing then top with a candied violet. Transfer to a platter to serve.

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients except butter and vanilla. In a 2 quart saucepan, combine the sugar, half and half, cocoa, salt, and corn syrup. Mix well with a whisk and bring to a boil over medium-low heat. While the fudge is cooking, butter a plate or baking dish for pouring the mixture into later.
- Heat until the mixture reaches 240 degrees. Let the fudge cook until it reaches 240 degrees, checked with a candy thermometer or instant-read thermometer. Don't stir during the cooking process. Once the temperature is reached, immediately remove the pan from the heat.
- Place butter and vanilla on top and allow to cool. Place the butter and vanilla on top of the fudge and allow it to cool. Do not mix or disturb the pan. Let it cool about. 20 minutes until the side of the pan is warm but not hot to the touch.
- Mix with a hand mixer until fudge begins to firm up. Using a hand mixer on medium-low, beat the fudge for 1-3 minutes until it just begins to firm up and lose its shine.
- Quickly pour into a buttered dish, cool, and cut. Once the fudge changes texture, immediately pour it into a dish to set. Work quickly. It if is not pourable, just scoop it out and flatten in the best you can. Allow it to cool for 20 minutes and cut into one-inch squares.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325ºF and set oven rack in middle level.
- Butter and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
- Beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla until light; about 4 minutes.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- In another bowl, combine the flour with the baking soda, 1 Tablespoon cocoa, cinnamon and salt and stir well to mix.
- Combine the hazelnuts and coconut and add a tablespoon of the flour mixture and rub between palms of hands to coat well.
- Add the flour mixture alternately with the sour cream to the butter and egg mixture, beginning and ending with the flour.
- Stir in the hazelnuts and coconut.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth top of batter.
- Bake the cake about 45 to 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the batter comes out clean.
- Cool on a rack for about 15 minutes, then invert a rack on the pan and invert to remove the cake.
- Finish cooling completely at room temperature.
- Mix the 1 cup of Confectioners sugar with the Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur or almond extract and enough water to make an icing that can be drizzled on the cake; divide the mixture in half and add the 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder to one half of the mixture (Add additional water to the cocoa mixture if the addition of cocoa made it too thick to drizzle).
- Drizzle alternately the white and brown icings over the cake; let the icing set and dust the cake with additional powdered sugar (Will look like an avalanche on a snow covered mountain).
- If you have a real sweet tooth, you can serve the cake with a scoop of chocolate chip ice-cream which is nice on a warm summers day; on a cool day or Winter Holiday you might use a dollop of sweetened whipped cream flavored with the Frangelico Liqueur.
